The issue lies within McAfee’s Web Advisor / Site Advisor extension for Chrome and other browsers, it blocks Shogun 2’s iteration of the Total War encyclopedia which causes the game to crash. I think it might be a problem with memory but im not sure. Empire total war Crash - posted in Games: Empire total war has recently been crashing on my computer, and it has become very anoying.
